Preparing for the big day29 Jul 2004 01:52 GMT15
There's a lot of firsts going on for me right now. I've never posted to a

appendectomy about thirty years ago!) I haven't posted before but I've been
listening in on you guys quite a bit since my PSA and Biopsies ...

Just had my six month post brachy PSA test.  Had the implant on January 6 of
this year; pre brachy my PSA was 4.08.  In April it was 1.1, and now in July
it is 0.9.  Everything seems to be going in the right direction!

Need info on loss of bladder control following catheter removal28 Jul 2004 20:59 GMT19
Had my catheter removed one week ago, and since then have had zero
bladder control when walking or standing.Everything is under control
while sitting or lying down, but once I stand up I am unable to
control the flow, and the flood starts. Same while walking and
chemotherapy begins28 Jul 2004 03:55 GMT6
As I have said, I am 16 1/2 years past initial Dx and EBRT and 5 1/2
years past recognition of my recurrence. The cancer has become hormone
resistant, my last three monthly PSAs have been 43, 58 and 91, and I
begin chemotherapy tomorrow. Since no one here has seen peritoneal
