Dialation/Urination problems04 May 2004 05:18 GMT7
What is dialation and what symptoms is it supposed to relieve?  Someone
posted that they had one done.  Hubby is having a major problem with
urination.  It seems that he feels an urgent need with burning when he
can go, but mostly there is nothing there to be relieved.  His Dr told
Nine Month Follow-up.04 May 2004 03:42 GMT1
RRP August 1, 2003, and nine month follow-up visit today.  Still using pads,
1 or 2 a day.  Got a prescription to try Detrol.  The doctor said that he
could do a scope procedure to see what is going on in there, but that can
cause incontinence problems itself, so he does not want to ...
First followup04 May 2004 03:14 GMT6
Good news:
My first followup PSA was < 0.1 .
I'm going all night without a pad, and seldom leak during the day.
Had enough of an erection last night that we didn't have to get into a kama

For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way
computers have enhanced our lives, read on. At a recent computer expo
(COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto
industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the

Just got home from the Royal Marsden Hospital (London) after

Return to the group, and PSA results!03 May 2004 16:01 GMT9
Well, for some reason, AOL will not let me access this newsgroup from the
screen name I had been using, so I've been 'absent' from here since about
February.....
I never reported in my PSA results taken 2 weeks after my RP - it was 0.3.
Long awaited03 May 2004 08:59 GMT8
It was the real thing!
Yes, it was long awaited and worth every minute.
Of course I'm watching with baited breath and saying "don't over pump it".
Well he didn't but we went to use it and it fell. So we tried the ring.
Support groups for women who love men with pca03 May 2004 03:18 GMT32
Know of any good ones? I could use one but all links I've tried from the
urologist are apparently defunked. Any info would be appreciated. This one
is great, but more for men than women.

Grade A Number 1 Newsgroup.03 May 2004 02:15 GMT5
Yesterday spent some time looking at other supposed "support"
newsgroups.  Was appalled by what I saw.  I have said before that I though
there was a great bunch of people here, but after what I saw yesterday I
have a new appreciation of what we have here.  Let's hope it stays ...
Friend in Toronto with PCA03 May 2004 01:11 GMT23
Hi Group, My friend in Toronto has been diagnosed with PCA.  He has
elected to undergo RPCA.  His is seeing a urologist, Dr. Casey.  I
find that Dr. Casey says he does 50 of these procedures per year and
estimates that he and his partner have done 1,000.   Is 50/year
Nothing to Fret About02 May 2004 23:41 GMT10
There has been plenty of discussion about when does one stop worrying over
PSA tests. As I have mentioned in the past, my secretary takes better note
of my schedule than do I.  She advised me that my PSA had to be taken today.
I had forgotten all about it.
