I had a test done at one month after treatment, but
that doesn't count because I was still under the
influence of Lupron, which would hold the PSA
very low even in the absence of other treatment.

I had my right foot amputated in 1990 due to diabetes.  In 1998 I had a toe
amputated from my left foot.  In 2000 I had my left leg amutated below the
knee.  I walk fine with two prosthetic legs.  I'm 61 years old.  I had my RP
in March of 2002.  There is some residual cancer left ...

My uro told me that there are approx 300 urologists in Australia (pop
around 20 million) while in the US there are about 18,000 (pop about 293
million).  So that means on a per capita basis the US has around 4 times
the specialists, no wonder you all (in the USA) advocate getting ...

cancer has spread to bone and 1 lymph node my last psa was 16.7 stage
c&d t 3&4 gleason 6  took the 3 month lupron shot got 50 mg casodex 1 a
day and took the shot for  the bones  what can i expect ?  all take care

Hubby will be done with the rad therapy (43 treatments) on May 6.  His
next appt (with the Radiation Therapy Unit) will be June 2 and that is
supposed to be a kind of "reorientation" for us.  I do not trust the VA.
What kind of things can they tell us without a post-rad blood test?

Some of you may recall that I was upset that I wasn't given an opportunity
to sit in with my husband when he received his post-op report last July.  At
the time I reported that his margins were clear but that one of the 2 lymph
nodes removed wasn't because that was what I thought he ...

Well, today I finished my 30th and last radiation treatment. The doctor
said my PSA and urine tests indicate everything went as planned and I
will be called in for check up and PSA test in 6 months. I have to get
up and pee about 5 times a night and have a lot of gas but that should
