Catheter out and progressing well31 Mar 2004 12:26 GMT4
I had my cath out yesterday and the first few hours were very worrying,
I'd leak when sitting, standing, walking and, oh yes, breathing!  Since
about 2 am it's been steadily improving and it looks like things won't
be too bad (ever hopeful).
Confused Wife30 Mar 2004 19:15 GMT13
Can anyone help me see things more clearly, back in September Martin, (aged

small area of concern. He got a second opinion from one of ...
Is there a link between Vasectomy and Prostate Cancer?30 Mar 2004 14:40 GMT13
Twenty years ago my doctor urged me to urge my husband to get a
vasectomy in order for our family to avoid the risks associated with
pregnancy in middle age. We weren't planning to have any more
children; and according to the doctor, it was a much easier procedure
Post-RRP PSA30 Mar 2004 11:44 GMT9
My surgery was in Oct. 2000.  The PSA readings for the first 2+ years
were <.01.  When my PSA went from .03 in April '03 to to .05 on
October '03, my internist suggested I contact my urologist.  The
urologist's PA responded by saying that there was nothing to worry

Try ESP Electro Treatment Before Chemo or Radiation Or Removal Of Prostate!29 Mar 2004 19:08 GMT1
Before you decide to go for an operation. Why not try to reduce your
prostate back to normal and have all functions otherwise return to normal as
well? ;-)
Has been speculated that it can handle the cancer aspect as well with the
Cath is Out!29 Mar 2004 15:59 GMT4
Phil had his cath out yesterday late afternoon, and started to leak
non stop.  Almost a steady stream, after a couple of hours it seemed
to slow up a bit, but it made us a little nervous urine had some blood
in it.  Then in the middle of the night he actually had the urge and
Helping you find treatment29 Mar 2004 06:57 GMT1
My name is Doug and I am interested in helping others fine a treatment
for themselves of their loved ones with cancer. I have a medical back
ground and enjoy helping people. I know what you are going through, 10
years ago the doctors found a micro-adenoma in my pituitary gland. I

I will be having surgery this April 17 after being diagnosed with prostate
cancer. My Gleeson score 6 (2+4). No symptoms it was picked up via a biopsy
after my PSA fluctuated from 5.2 then 4.7 then 5.7 last year. I will be 66
this June and had a TURP almost exactly 11 years ago.
Question about PSA Level29 Mar 2004 01:50 GMT9
I have been looking all over for the answer to this but can't find anything.
Is it possible to have a PSA level of like 4,000 plus?  A guy I work with
says this is what they told him and he will probably be starting
chemotherapy early next week.  Just wondering if he got this right ...
More Questions29 Mar 2004 01:28 GMT10
I met with my urologist yesterday afternoon to review the bone and ct scans.
Fortunately, they have come up clean, so we believe the cancer has not
spread.  When we reviewed my options, my dr. feels that nerve sparing
radical prostatectomy would be the suggested course of action.  ...
