One year post op report08 Jan 2004 00:48 GMT2
On January 7th 2003, I underwent RetroPubic Radical Prostatectomy.
I was diagnosed in October 2002, PSA test 6.9,  which had been rising
slowly over past 5 years.  Two biopsies previously were negative.
Biopsy positive T1C,  in one lobe.  Gleason 3+3.  I was 70 at the time

PSA Velocity question07 Jan 2004 08:40 GMT6
I have mild BPH and have had a negative prostate biopsy a year ago. My PSA
seems to move quite a bit -- all under 4.0.  Is this normal? Should I pursue
further testing?

IMRT wrapping up07 Jan 2004 00:02 GMT5
I have just completed 31 out or 42 IMRT treatments. Minor annoyances with
increased frequence of peeing (at night) and pooping (days), but very
manageable. Drinking cranberry juice after each treatment and mixed with
vodka at night if I need to relax.

Yes, I still exist, kind of.  I was definitely not cut out to be a
mother.  Glad to report that my first experience with ironing yesterday went
well.  The feedback on some of the other chores around the house was not so
positive however.  Four more weeks with my wife in a cast, ...
