Its been 3 months since surgery.
Continence is fully controlled.
Last week the doctor prescribed Cialis for Doug.
Even with the  missing 'expansion' we were having fun

Thanks to all for the good wishes. It's really a pick-up to have a lot of
local and long-distance friends for support.
The RRP went as the doc predicted, which was simple RRP, sparing nerves and
not removing lymph nodes. Pathology showed a small focus of 3+3 cells in

Just checking in with the group -
I'm now 10 days post-RP, and I'm currently counting the milliseconds until my
cathether comes out on the 22nd at 12:15 p.m. (My Dr. had best NOT be running
late that day.....  hahahaha)

I've been lurking in this group for the past couple of weeks and found

For those of us who have known Berky, the end is near. Berky's family is
asking for prayers, good vibes or whatever you wish to send their way.
Hospice is coming in daily and Berky's wife has some additional help from
family and close friends. I will keep you posted.

I have been diagnosed with a T1c, Gleason 7 prostate cancer with a PSA
of 18.  I would like recommendations for surgeons and facilities in
the Boston area.

Well I got stuck again.  I had Surgery in 1999, and this is 2004.  Losing
track of how long, and how many?
How many PSA's test ........I guess we are stuck with forever?
