PCa and Gay Men11 Sep 2003 19:35 GMT7
Last weekend I was relating my PCa experience to my youngest son who
is a 30-year old gay man living in New York City.  He told me quite
seriously that prostate cancer is rare among gay men because of the

physician how long the surgery would be, he patted me on the belly and
said..."he has a pretty good gut there, and could take 4 hours."  Well,

C(A)T Scan question10 Sep 2003 13:45 GMT3
I got a CAT scan Wednesday, and while the techs were explaining some
of the details of the procedure I, being an engineer, was

A Sad Story......10 Sep 2003 05:18 GMT2
I stopped going to the Cancer Centre every day with Ron for his
radiation treatments......not entirely sure why (G).  Most of the people
were upbeat and interesting.  But the odd one got to me and I tried to
remain detached.

About 18 months ago my partner had brachytherapy done for his prostate

being diagnosed all the time).  My question is: Once brachytherapy has
been carried out, is infertility a done deal or is there still a

Chafing Problem08 Sep 2003 05:04 GMT4
