I've been busy this week doing as much as possible to get the IMRT set
up.  Making calls during the day, searching the web at night.
Today, in a response to my Tuesday's email requesting the scheduling
of the ProstaScint and then the IMRT I received the following message

it is a new computer worm circulating through e-mail that purports to be

Its a virus called Swen.A@mm
Found a description at Norton (Symantec) at the link below.  This one
was posted at 6:30 p.m. tonight.  They had to scramble because this was
a variant of Gibe......

Last night my wife and I went to the Emmy awards courtesy of our son
who is the IT Director at the Academy.  We sat throught three hours of
the show during which time my wife had to pee twice.  I stayed in my
seat.  She also peed prior to being seated, not me.  Then we went to

I wonder if you can help me. I have a friend who has found out he has
prostate cancer. he has had the tumor removed, but before he got it removed
it burst and has enter into his lymph nodes. They also see a spot on his
liver. My question is this, He has diabetes as well, the doctors ...

it appears that almost to the minute, each time during an hour, that i
get hit with a bunch of virus messages that jammed my mailbox full and
after i clear them out.  it will stay that way until the next attack
hits.

I have not posted in a while.  My last posting was the good news about
John's post-op PSA.  I am being cautiously optimistic about this since
one of his lymph nodes that was removed was infected (although he did
have clear margins).

This dirty little devil is spreading thru the news groups because I am
bombarded with them and this is a new Email address and my wife has none
on her address. Fortunatly with Webtv they can do no harm if I delete

My father-in-law has a PSA now of over 72; I'm trying to support my wife as
she copes with this, but I really have no good feel for how bad this bad
really is?  Her father has been dealing with prostate cancer for many years,
but it's risen from 6 to 72 in one year.

We've had a lot of posts dealing with viruses and spam. Spam is annoying.
Viruses can be just annoying, destructive and costly. I've read these posts,
particularly those from Heather, and I've posted a few replies.
Like everyone these days, I get a lot of spam. In the past 10-12 ...

Hi all.......(and thank you JK for asking about Ron)
Ron is now finished with 25 radiation treatments as of yesterday.  He
did extremely well in that he had only one minimal side effect.  And the
doctors were amazed and pleased.
