Prostate Ultrasound, etc27 Sep 2009 04:34 GMT2
I am a chronic BPH patient. Recently went off Flomax and was amazed at
the extent it controlled symptoms. Was getting up every 1.5 hours with
extreme pain, etc.
Back on Flomax now and doing much better. Saw a new Uro last week. He did

It is estimated that one in four men experiences BPH-related symptoms
by age 55, and by age 75 half of all men have BPH. Current medical
treatment for BPH relies on alpha-1-adrenergic blockers
(alpha-blockers), which relax muscles in the prostate, or
I have found help Finally18 Sep 2009 05:56 GMT8
This is not an advertisement. I have suffered from BPH for about sixty
five years since I was about 12 years old. I thought I had VD.
I won't go through all the pain and suffering.
The only relief I found is  _beta sitosterol_ (not a brand name.)
QUESTIONS FOR MY UROLOGIST10 Sep 2009 23:57 GMT2
Hello Group: I just underwent my second TURP since 2006. Surgery was

TURP YESTERDAY05 Sep 2009 02:05 GMT9
I had my TURP done yesterday morning. It was my second procedure in

much material either. My prostate is only 29 grams to begin with, so
My BPH and recent TURP03 Sep 2009 09:00 GMT29
Reading the BPH-related experiences on this site (and a couple other
sites) has been informative for me.  I appreciate all those that have
posted over the years.  To help others gather info as I did, I’m
posting the events that led to me having a TURP on Dec 9.
Is it just me, or does aspirin help?03 Sep 2009 00:29 GMT9
A few days ago, I had been working outside all day, digging and moving
stuff around, and wound up with a sore back. That night, feeling that
the sore back would continue into the next day, I took two aspirins
before going to bed. I woke up the next morning with my sore back
PVP December 2008 update01 Sep 2009 03:07 GMT3
I had my Greenlight PVP treatment for BFH just about five months ago.
The initial apparent benefits, primarily quick voiding of urine, afre no
longer there. The volume per pee maxed out at about 300mL. Often it is
much less. I get up at night as often as I ever did.
