After release from hospital I engaged urologist number 4. We continued antibiotics for a week or so, along with a Foley catheter. But, unlike earlier episodes, I was still unable to pass any urine at all. Clearly it was time for more aggressive treatment.

I have been an appreciative reader (I dislike the term lurker) of this newsgroup for about three years. Thank you to all who have shared their experiences and wisdom wrt BPH. I have gained much from your experiences and would relate my own.

BPH and CA how likely to have both? Hi all, A couple o' questions: 1) How likely is it to have both BPH and CA at the same time.

Has anyone taken both Flomax and Avodart regularly for a period of time? Has the results been better then just one of them and how long did it take to make a difference? Or, was there just no difference?

Warning I only took Flomax for 6 months but sure as hell wish I hadnt and that PVP had been available sooner Because the hell that is HH and all the horrible tests like Gastroscopy to diagnose it beat any possible fleeting discomfort or delayed recovery from
