I had TURP last Thursday (my prostate was too large for PVP).  Just about
everytime I urinate there is a "burning" sensation at the end.  It is quite
intense but only lasts a few seconds and then there is no pain until the
next time.  I know we are all unique  so it will vary, ...

A few days ago, I had been working outside all day, digging and moving
stuff around, and wound up with a sore back. That night, feeling that
the sore back would continue into the next day, I took two aspirins
before going to bed. I woke up the next morning with my sore back

Have just started Avodart, after giving up after 6 months with Flomax.
Read that Avodart makes psa readings for (p[ossible) prostate cancer as a
test meaningless.
This seems like a bit of a problem, as you sure don't want to have periodic

Have bph/frequent urination, and have tried Flomax for 6 months with
negligible, if any, improvement.
Dr. has therefore just put me on Avodart.
