I am 61 and have had BPH for some years. Currently taking 2 Flomax .4 mg
and 1 Terazosin 10 mg per day. This used to be sorta sufficient.
More recently, I go to bed, sleep perhaps an hour, wake with acute
bladder pain and an erection, pee the pot, then resume sleep,

I've never had a prostate ultrasound. Is that real miserable? I assume it
doesn't last too long? I assume after the test one can function well just
like after a DRE?
In short, what's it like?

Saw doctor.
Gave a urine sample. Did bladder ultrasound immediately after that.
Bladder was empty.
Did PSA; then DRE.

I used to be a regular poster, but I sure don't see many posts of late.
Well, I've been having BPH problems for almost 10 years.
I've been on flomax and that has been the best medication I've ever had. No
side effects and it's been very effective.until about 6 weeks ago. Since

I am a 43 year old man and have sporatic problems with BPH for a while

years old or so.  Does anyone know the current status of this

Is recidive BPH is possible ?and a second TURP too?
