I can understand what you are saying as I have endured BPH for over 10 years. Been taking terazosin, an alpha blocker for most of that time. It was very effective in the beginning. I went from 5 times nightly to once.

I had a prostate biopsy and it was normal thank the good Lord in fact had one 6 months ago was normal too. MY question is they said my prostate volume is 52grams and urogolist said it was enlarged but I don't any real urinating problems. What size should my prostate be at my age ...

Dr. Reiter at UCLA is my uro. He did my PVP for BPH in November 2005. He had me taking Avodart, not proscar, for about 3 months to shrink my prostate prior to surgery. My prostate was about 110 grams, but he said he would not agree to do the PVP unless my prostate was
