OVer the past years have occasional bouts with bladder infections.
Had a PVP a couple years ago, for the most part it worked out great.
Now, the PSA is moving about a bit. One month maybe 2.something anothe
over 4.

Hi -My dad has benign prostate enlargement around 50cc and it is pressing
against his bladder causing frequent urination (4 times or more per night).
He is 64. Reasonably fit. Doctor recommends  a TURP operation. Says side

I have been reading a lot here about the green light PVP laser, but not much
about the Holmium laser.  Is there much difference between the two
procedures?  Holmium is offered in my area but not the PVP.  It sounds like
they are both better than the surgical TURP.

I've always tried to keep up on men's health issues. I have a check up
at least once a year and request the PSA test. My last test gave me a
good reading of 3.3.
I convinced a friend to have the test. His Dr is concerned. The test

Had a PVP in 12-04 for the obvious reasons and it worked just great.
Flow, sleep at nite....everything is still great.
BUT....before the PVP and continuing til now, I have constant
bladder infections.  Every 3-5 months go to the uro, pee in a cup,

at the age of 36 I injured my back shortly afterwards I started going into
urinary retension every few days to weeks.
after about a year and trying every drug known to man I had a bladder neck
