I'm on Proscar but have heard that Avodart is better. So I'm thinking I should switch. But I'm not sure, because Proscar works, and it might not be wise to challenge success... and maybe Avodart will give me side effects that I don't have now with Proscar.

I have an appt with my Dr in a few weeks to discuss problems wit my prostate. I have been taking Terazosin but I know this does not shrink the prostate. It helps with the urine flow.
