Those contemplating PVP for bph should consider waiting until their uro
has access to the new and improved equipment.  Laserscope recently
announced that they made various enhancements to the PVP equipment
which should make for better outcomes.   It will also be more expensive

I've been facing the inevitable for some 10 years. My urologist told me
years ago that I would likely need a TURP sometime in the future, but I
definitely don't want one because of my father's experience with
impotance following his. I've been taking Proscar now for several years

I believe this is a great site for men to share the pain and agony of
dealing with enlarged prostates, etc.  I actually found this after my
procedure on May 16, 2006.  Tomorrow is 4 weeks post-op and I am not a
happy camper.

I have been under the impression that greenlight/PVP offers same chance
of success. If this is wrong, please advise.
