Who knows why the sound of running water gives you the need to pee ?  A
problem when yo have BPH !

Has anyone experienced erectile dysfunction after "green light" surgery?  I
have also noticed some discoloration in the head, (gland).  Are these
problems anyone else has had.

Hi: I just had a huge (2cm) bladder stone removed last Wednesday. The
doctor used a cystoscope with a device to break it up. The urologist
said the stone formed because the median lobe of the prostate was
enlarged, and cystals formed in the retained urine. A recent check

Not seen many reports from european patients having had PVP, some from UK
months ago and then nothing else.
According to Laserscope, and my own contacts, machines are in use in
UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, France, Denmark, Spain.....

I had my PVP back on January 12 this year. Although the flow is way better
and there is no more sign or trace of blood, I'm still suffering from a
burning sensation every time at the end. Is this normal? How long will it

wrote the procedure as 'dilation' and not 'dilatation' as some have

62 yr old who had TUMT 7/2/04 and PVP 2/23/05.  Started having symptoms
again about Christmas time (more frequent night awakening and straining

Well, it has been 10 wks now since my second PVP and I was going to share my
progress. As in my first PVP, I experienced problems voiding unless I took
Flomax. I went back to visit Dr. Lin and he did the urethal dilatation on me.

I have heard that aspirin raises PSA, saw palmetto lowers it, and sex
raises it. To get an accurate reading, for how many days before PSA
should one abstain from each of the above?
