Blood in Semen12 Oct 2005 00:35 GMT2
I've had blood in the semen for about 8 months now.  The semen is sometimes
red, other times brown.  Went to the urologist several times, he finds no
blood in the urine. PSA is 1.7, I'm a 47 y/o white male, maybe about 20
lbs. overweight.  The urologist found no enlargement of ...
Positive PVP Report from the Heartland11 Oct 2005 20:26 GMT2
I am 63, and in good general health, but I have had prostate problems for
many years. About 3-4 years ago I had a TUMT that didn't offer much relief
to my flow problem. My uro (who had done the TUMT) started talking about a
TURP, but I began reading this group and started to look ...

Saw Palmetto as preventation?07 Oct 2005 01:45 GMT3
I asked this in 2000 and got brushed off, sort of.
I take a small aspirin daily because statistical data on heart
attacks indicates this is wise.   I have no heart symptoms.
Similarly, I take some vitamins but have no vitamin deficiency.
Proscar after PVP, TUNA and other procedures?07 Oct 2005 01:35 GMT2
I had a TUNA about 2 yrs ago and it worked great.  My uro suggested I
continue taking proscar to avoid reoccurrence of BPH which I have been
doing.  I would like to stop taking proscar as I believe it lowers libido.
Did anyone else get similar advice after PVP, TUNA or other ...
Post Void Retention ~ Gravity07 Oct 2005 00:33 GMT1
Does *gravity* have anything to do with the ability to urinate?
PVP ~ 12 Oct @ National Naval Medical Center ~ Bethesda06 Oct 2005 21:29 GMT11
At appointment on 15 Sep, I was initially asked to give a urine
specimen, which I barely filled.  The first thing the technician did was
check how much urine was in my bladder, which indicated over 900cc's.  The
Doctor ordered a catherization to empty my bladder.  To my amazement, ...

On Aug 12th Derek F. passed along a question, "Anyone had prostate problems
from taking acid reflux medications?"   I found it very interesting, but  no
one has answered his question.  I used to be on LOSEC then doctor upgraded
me to a more potent PRILOSEC.   Both did little to ...

Has anyone experienced lower back pain from Flomax?  If so, and you stopped
taking Flomax, how long did it take for the pain to go away?
Thanks.

PING! Pete & Ed01 Oct 2005 01:19 GMT5
Don't you guys know how to <snip> a post in a thread?
It's a real pain in the arse having to scroll down all the previous
posts, when in reality, your just bouncing ONE ongoing question off
each other all the time.
