This is what happened: I went in at 10:30, was put on a drip and they took some more blood to type it in case of blood transfusion. Had to sign that they could do a TURP in case the PVP failed.

I just got blood test results showing a high BUN/creatinine ratio. I read that this could be caused by BPH because of urine blockage. Does anyone know anything about this?

Anyone know the age of the oldest person to have PVP? I take my 97 year old father-in-law in next week to see the URO. The father in law is in relatively good shape. No major problems except for having to find a bathroom every hour, day and night.
