I am on allegra for allergies, dicyclomine for IBS. Once a week Immodium
for IBS.

I am 56 and have to get up once a night-have had problems since I was
25--will get PVP when I need it-have a uro in Dallas that does it...I take
supplements that Dr Cherry said to take-I like natural stuff-because even if
you get a PVP the prostate grows back..

In the "Probably more than you wanted to know" department, I have
started self catheterization.  The nature of my BPH is that
occasionally I have a period where I can't start, usually at night.  
Although my flow is usually poor anyway,  during these intervals it is

Monday it will be 8 weeks since I had my PVP. Things seem to be healing
nicely. Haven't seen any blood or stuff in about 3 weeks, but yesterday
(and somewhat today) the urgency has been overwhelming!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must have had 3-4 true accidents yesterday. I just didn't make it in

Wanted to report that after 14 weeks post PVP (Feb 23, 05) things are
starting to settle down. Flow is good. The urgency when getting up from

My urologist says he's done 25 PVPs. Is this enough experience for him to
be good at the procedure?
