Joseph Hospital in Nashua , New Hampshire. Had a lot of bleeding so
had to spend the night. I had to keep a catheter in all week in and I
hated that but I have been on aspirin for 15 yrs so I am not to

Beta Sitosterol vs. Saw Palmetto03 May 2005 20:07 GMT2
I am the one who is suffering and not recovering from a TURP (see post dtd
4/24/05).  I am thinking of getting some beta sitosterol and trying it or
maybe some saw palmetto, if I can't find it without sending away.  I have a

no retro.  PSA is up a little from last year from 1.6 to 2.0  That might
mean prostate continues to enlarge, but given no BPH symptoms ...
PVP + 1 month03 May 2005 06:23 GMT2
Now one month since my PVP by Dr. Robert Reiter at UCLA.  Had my first
post-op checkup, and Dr. Reiter was pleased with my status.  Excellent flow
rate (he said that it was better than that of his young son!).  Urgency just
before urination is gradually diminishing, as is ...
9 week post PVP report03 May 2005 03:45 GMT9
Well, it has been 9 weeks since my PVP. Urine flow is not much better than
before the surgery unless I take Flomax. Went back to the URO yesterday and
he said to let's wait for 6 mos. and see how it goes as long as I can go
taking the Flomax. He said this surgery was not always 100% ...

Not Recovering from TURP01 May 2005 02:55 GMT11
I am 57 years old, and at the end of my rope, and don't know what to do. I
just had a TURP 16 days ago to hopefully increase my urine flow and help the
constant urge to pee all the time, but I could not go (my retention was not
that bad though), and now I am worse than ever. ...
