Procedure done yesterday, March 16. The Dr. suggested I try TUMT first before PVP. For me it is a quality of life thing. Age 75 and in relatively good health. Presently getting up three or four times a night and very little trouble during the day.

It has been decided by a new Uro that I have that he would like to scope the bladder for various reasons. I previously had this done in a hospital and was 'out' for the procdure. My current Doc choses to do it in his office.

Is it possible that walking for three miles or so on a treadmill can cause the prostate to swell up and agitate BPH or cause an affect like prostatitis? It seems like exercise causes problems, but the docs all say walking should help?
