Just a comment about your posts:
I think we know you're "not a doctor" and that it is always your
"non-medical opinion."
I think we assume that for all of us unless someone does identify as a doc.
10,000 PVPs in the past 3 months29 Oct 2004 23:17 GMT1
Laserscope posted quarterly results today and said they sold 10,000 fibers
in the past 3 months.  This means that there are now over 3000 PVPs are
being done every month around the country.
They also estimated the worldwide market for PVPs to be over 1 million per
prostate cancer treatment28 Oct 2004 23:28 GMT6
saw this thing on the news about a new way to treat prostate cancer and they
said they would try it on other cancers...they implant little radioactive
pellets in the prostate and they dissolve and leave your system after 10
days...
My story - what next? (quite long)27 Oct 2004 11:53 GMT9
I am a 58 year old male who thought he was fit and well until the beginning
of September.  I came back from holidays on Saturday 4th feeling great but
on the Monday I felt feverish, hands shaking, slightly nauseous, the lot.
That night I kept getting up to urinate, something I ...

Indigo Laser Treatment or PVP?25 Oct 2004 19:54 GMT2
I recently went to the Hattiesburg Clinic Urology Dept(Hattiesburg,
Mississippi) and saw Dr. Randolph Ross.  He suggested the Indigo Laser
Treatment.  He did say that retro-ejaculation is still a strong
possibility with this non-invasive surgery.  I want to know what kind
Trinovin24 Oct 2004 15:13 GMT6
Has anyone tried Trinovin for BPH and if so what were the results.
Avodart and Uroxatral24 Oct 2004 03:37 GMT11
I have been reading posts from your newsgroup for several weeks. I am 60 and
have suffered from BPH for at least 20 years.
Tuesday, my urologist did a cystoscopy (I had one done about ten years
ago) and declared that my prostate was probably about 35cc in size,  was not
Anti-inflamation meds15 Oct 2004 23:48 GMT1
Hi, all,
I have been following these postings, but I have one question.
Just what effect do anti-inflamatory medications have on the prostate,
enlarged or otherwise?
15.5 months post PVP and blow a chunk.13 Oct 2004 02:48 GMT3
I had my PVP 15 and half months ago.  After a painful period of recovery
that I would like to forget, I considered the operation a success and still
do.  Today I was surprised when my urine looked dark and left an inch long
chunk of dark tissue in the toilet.
TURP - is it inevitable?11 Oct 2004 14:28 GMT5
Been told it is a number of times, now. I have had CP since the middle 80s
when the pain became noticeable and was diagnosed with CP in 99. So far,
flow is OK almost all the time but once in a while seems restricted though
it is only once and not there the next time.
Questions Re:Laser BPH Surgery10 Oct 2004 00:34 GMT2
I am 49 yo and I recently have been advised to have PVP laser surgery
for BPH. Since I am relatively young to have BPH that requires
surgery, and the fact that I don't yet have any children, I am
concerned about fertility after the surgery. I know retrograde
Total Retention after PVP:09 Oct 2004 20:30 GMT4
I had a PVP A year ago to correct three previous episodes of total retention
at that time I was told that after the PVP I wouldn't have anymore total
retention. Two weeks ago I was in the hospital to have a pacemaker installed
after the surgery I woke up with total retention again ...
How much do you pee overnight?09 Oct 2004 11:51 GMT5
This is not meant to be a oissing contest.
After two TUMT procedures, I still have to get up at night more often than I
would like. I have a bucket near my bed so I do not have to stumble to the
bathroom in the dark. No matter how thirsty I am at night I always manage to
Large Prostate PVP07 Oct 2004 02:35 GMT9
On 20 August I underwent the PVP procedure with quite satisfactory
results. Any remaining problems that I have are fairly obviously
bladder related and are slowly improving.
I had been "watching and waiting" for many years and seen the growth
