Interesting observation30 Sep 2004 18:45 GMT2
I'm taking clindamycin 300 mg., an antibiotic, for a gum
infection.
Since I started I have a much stronger urine stream. I especially
notice it during the night, when I normally just dribble and have

Meeting of the Minds?29 Sep 2004 00:42 GMT41
Hey guys,
You know it is possible to be a supporter of PVP/Laserscope and still be
critical of their marketing process and other issues around their
presentation.
PVP Post 7 Weeks29 Sep 2004 00:33 GMT3
Newsgroup Members:
I am now 7 weeks post PVP and find I am having difficulty with  urgency and

Bloodwork before Meds or PVPs?27 Sep 2004 14:11 GMT1
I am puzzled.  Nobody on this group seems to be mentioning details of, or
challenging their doctors for, blood workups.  I'm curious as to why not?
Would I be correct in assuming that most/many of you did have blood workups
but found your DHT was within the "normal" range but ...

TURP 8 days ago23 Sep 2004 01:44 GMT9
Hello to all.
I'm 57 years old. Had prostatitis since my 30s and BPH through my 50s. Its
been eight days since my TURP and healing is going well,  Flow is excellent
but frequency varies.  Uro tells me this is normal.  Not a lot of pain
PVP with Peyronie's21 Sep 2004 03:36 GMT2
I had a consultation with a uro who uses PVP about a year ago, but did
not have the procedure at that time. I was told the next step was for
the Dr. to do a scope  exam to make sure I was a good candidate for
the PVP. He said one of the things that might disqualify me was scar

Hi, I am a 59 yr old male with bph. I am new at this, and just want to
get as much information as possible and to try to make the best
decisions concerning my health. My first experiences were just
enlarged prostate, and the discomfort it presented when sitting for
Relief via PVP too brief!18 Sep 2004 12:38 GMT4
I had PVP in mid-June. When I finally had the catheter removed (3 weeks)
I had enormous improvements. Flow rates like a hose, ability to empty
the bladder, ability to sleep through the night, ability to put off
going to the bathroom rather than having to drop everything and get ...
Why no US Govt. regulation of medical equipment advertising??17 Sep 2004 23:46 GMT3
I have no desire to get into the discussion about Lasercope's morals or lack
therof, but this whole discussion does bring up the question of why there
appears to be a difference between the advertising of medical equipment
compared with that of pharmaceuticals in this country.
looking for new uro15 Sep 2004 04:33 GMT2
I want to first thank those who responded to my earlier post.  It was
my first post, and sorta lengthy, but those who responded were very
nice and helpful.  I'm sure many who post and read here have gone thru
mcuh of what I'm going thru, and probably much worse situations.  This
vascetomy15 Sep 2004 02:49 GMT1
Noticed that there isn't much mention of vascetomy in this forum.  Was
just curious about things like men with vascetomies and using
different drugs like avodart, flomax, etc...any negative effects and
such...
I must have jinxed the group by mentioning the lack of posts12 Sep 2004 13:37 GMT18
Is anyone else as tired of Marcus' diatribe as I am?  It's beaten it to
death already.  Take your whining somewhere else.  We've heard it all
before.
Response to the Laserites11 Sep 2004 17:59 GMT6
Several contributors to this NG seem to have a problem with
any suggestion that Laserscope has an ethical or potentially legal
culpability in regard to their marketing of the PVP procedure.
First of all, Patrick, one of Laserscope's relentless cheerleaders,
