I had a TUNA 4 months ago.  It was a total success.  I can pee like a
teenager now.   I had been retro before because of Flomax.  Now I am
not retro anymore.  Most of the posts on this newsgroup relate to PVP.
It seems like the laser manufacturer has lots of shills here. There

Please correct me if I am wrong, but by looking at some

Post PVP by 90 days15 Jun 2004 14:22 GMT1
Gentlemen:
I had a PVP in Tucson, Az on March 18, 2004.  My progress has been
somewhat disappointing so far.  I have a much better pee flow than
prior PVP.  It is excellent if I stay on Flomax.  However, without
Any probs like this one?15 Jun 2004 05:56 GMT6
Just wondering if anyone who has NOT had some sort of surgery on their
problem has had this one. Discovered, last night when feeling a little sore
on my gut just above my naval, that I have a couple of hard lumps, hard like
a clothes button, not far under the surface. Both are about ...

My quests for PVP Uro -- any others?10 Jun 2004 17:26 GMT4
Here is what I intend to ask. I need suggestions for any additional
worthwhile initial visit questions:
1) How many have you done, approx.?
2) What about being on flomax long term? Bladder problems?
problems with laser treatment09 Jun 2004 16:43 GMT10
Malek and Nahen, "Laser Treatment of Obstructive BPH: Problems and
Progress," Contemporary Urology," May 2004 (available on physicans' section
of laserscope website) raises questions about the proper wave-length for
laser treatment, with some harm coming from the wrong wave-length. ...
PVP Concern09 Jun 2004 08:40 GMT4
I will be seeing a PVP uro on Monday.
My problem is decreased flow (when it acts up). It is well controlled by
flomax at this time.
My concern would be the post-PVP urgency. Currently, I do NOT generally have
PVP Mahmood Hai, M.D.05 Jun 2004 21:31 GMT3
Does anyone have any knowledge about Dr. Mahmood Hai?
Dr. Hai performs PVP (photo-selective vaporization of the prostate)
procedures in Detroit, Michigan (Cherry Hill Medical Center, Westlake).  He
is supposedly a 'preceptor' or trainer of other urologists for the
Initial PVP Uro visit --- what should I expect04 Jun 2004 23:56 GMT7
Darn --- sorry for so many posts --- I keep thinking of questions after
sending my posts.
What should I expect at my first uro visit??
(I assume a discussion and a DRE --- I recently have had PSA testing done).
Does anyone know Dr. Wei (Univ. of Mich)?04 Jun 2004 05:08 GMT2
I'll be seeing him on Monday for the first time.

PSA count importance03 Jun 2004 23:31 GMT2
Two three years ago, my PSA level went up to 69 and the Doctor got it
investigated.
He found infection and that was treated with antibiotics.  I also used

PVP at Scarborough Hospital in June03 Jun 2004 18:17 GMT2
I have just made an appointment with Dr. Wm Baldwin at The Scarborough
Hospital (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) for the middle of June. I saw him
today and was fortunate enough to meet a couple of his patients who had
PVP there a few months ago. I was really struck by their enthusiasm ...
