I'm considering having some dental surgery done. I have BPH. The local anesthetic, Lidocaine(sp?) or whatever, doesn't work well with me so I'll probably elect to have IV. I know some anesthetics cause urination difficulty. Is this one of them?

In the summer I have to get my bladder checked to see if the 2 mini-tumours (benign) found during PVP have recurred. I believe if a flexible 'scope is used a general anaesthetic can be avoided.
