Question on Flow Rates28 Jan 2004 17:16 GMT3
I had a TURP a couple years ago, before PVP was available.  Since then,

Only complaint is the frequent (once or twice) urination need at night.
Urologist suggested trying Saw Palmetto, which I have with absolutely
no changes or help.
Bell Peppers and BPH24 Jan 2004 15:02 GMT2
I've read a couple cursory remarks in magazines advising not to eat
Bell Peppers if you have prostate troubles, although Google searches
will only call up long lists of links recommending eating Red Bell
Peppers for the lycopene content to prevent cancer.

bladder health before pvp or turp20 Jan 2004 05:41 GMT3
I've had bph for at least 8 years (I'm 58 now) but regarded the
symptoms as fairly mild. I'd get up a few times at night and also
experienced occasional annoying urgency and frequency (especially when
