Frequent Urination, Dribbling (Narrow bladder neck)12 Dec 2003 18:56 GMT2
I am 34 years old.  I started getting pain in the groin while running
and doing almost any physical , sexual activity about 2 years ago.  To
make the long story short, after going thru 5 Urologists I finally
decided to settle on a uro that I was comfortable with  in July 2003.
Four months post PVP12 Dec 2003 03:18 GMT2
Dr. Lyn did a PVP on me at the end of July.  I was relieved when I could
once more urinate freely.  I learned that I had retro but Dr. Lyn warned me
that I might have it temporarily.  He told me if I do get it, it will go
away in a few months.  It has been just over four months and ...
Activity after PVP - 8th day12 Dec 2003 03:17 GMT1
I had my PVP on the 3rd December and have been feeling fine ever
since. I refused a TURP five years ago because I knew it would
be impossible for me, as a farmer, to conform to the rigid "no
lifting" rule.
Just home from PVP - UK12 Dec 2003 00:05 GMT32
I got home about an hour ago after a 10 hour trip by rail from
London following a PVP at King's College Hospital by Gordon
Muir.
I travelled down on the 2nd December from Inverness to London

I have been on Flomax for about three months and nothing. My doctor
suggested I start on a new medication, he stated it only came out about a
month ago. I can't read his script, but it goes something like this
?sroxataral. Doses anybody know what this medication is?

Don't trust one opinion09 Dec 2003 20:34 GMT4
I've had problems since I was a little kid.  I went to get a second
opinion from
a urologist, and he scared the crap out of me.   My original urologist
did not
PVP+1.5years09 Dec 2003 20:14 GMT8
Nothing new to report at 18 months after PVP.  No BPH symptoms (AUA score
0). Very strong flow (50 ml/sec).  No frequency or urgency, can hold all day
and all night if I want to. No retro or any other side effects. PSA is 1.6,
same as six months ago.  So far results are very durable ...
PVP: My Turn09 Dec 2003 18:45 GMT11
My PVP adventure began in July, 2002, when I first read of the
procedure on this newsgroup, thanks to Patrick¹s postings. It was he
who, at my request, led me to make an appointment in August with Dr.
Alexis Te, Weill-Cornell Medical Center, in New York City. The usual

Did Exercises after TURP all wrong!06 Dec 2003 23:34 GMT3
For three months after a TURP I faithfully did the prescribed exercises
three times daily. My bladder still drained any time I rose to a standing
position or bent over putting pressure on my abdomen. I was then sent to a
local hospital for lengthy biofeedback sessions. At the ...
Laserscope co. funds studies?05 Dec 2003 23:56 GMT8
I spoke with a dr. in NYC who has been mentioned on this list as probably
doing PVP (not Te). He explained, patiently and at length that, though he
has access to the device, he is quite frankly waiting for others to work the
kinks out. He said that most of the studies supporting PVP ...
Proscar, can I stop it?04 Dec 2003 18:24 GMT4
I've been on Proscar for several years now and it's done all it's going
to do, apparently.  It's worked in that my prostate is now smaller than
it was but it's not reduced in size enough to matter so, the question
is, what could I expect if I stop taking it?
