I just saw a blurb in a magazine about 5HTP - "an amino acid metabolite". (Brain converts it to seretonin --- and it's supposedly good for other ailments.) Anyone have any thoughts on this? Here is a site I found on Google which pretty well describes it.

I asked a pharmacist about prussic acid and the pharmacist didn't even recognize the term. Can someone tell me if prussic acid is the same substance as cyanide? If so, when and why did cyanide replace the term prussic acid?

I'm using wart remover liquid by kroger. This liquid thickens when exposed to air -- it helps keep the drug on the skin. However, after a few days of use even the liquid inside the bottle has thickened to the point I can no longer apply it.

My elderly neighbor just got ChampVA insurance and has had Medicare up to this point. She was told by a social worker type (not employee of VA) that she did not have to pay anything when using ChampVA to get her prescription medications.

I'm having terrible problems with GERD lately. I had a flare up back in May.... got scoped..... nothing big found but I'm not sure how far down that scope goes the esophagus.
