Darvon Compound-did it disappear??30 Jan 2006 15:17 GMT5
Had a patient come into pharmacy today with a script for this. Allergy
to opioids (true allergy, too) and a liver transplant (can't have
acetaminophen). Looked hi and lo, could not find either. Had to change
to Darvon HCL and get aspirin off the shelf.
SENSITIZATION27 Jan 2006 17:23 GMT1
Hello i am an undergraduate student doing a study on sensitized ileum.
I just wanted to have some idea on what response to expect from a
sensitized tissue when exposed to exogenous mediators compared to the
response of a normal tissue? Thank you!
Is pinky-twitching a sure sign of disease?27 Jan 2006 10:16 GMT2
I recently noticed that my pinky on one hand seems to twitch
uncontrollably. This really scares me and I wonder if I am going to get
parkinsons or alzheimers. I'm only 24 years old, and otherwise very
healthy.

Stop drug ads24 Jan 2006 02:57 GMT1
These days, we're swamped with ads for prescription drugs that are
supposed to make us feel happier, sleep better and enhance our sex

The ads may seem ridiculous at times, with people prancing through

I work for an independent pharmacy where we have just 1 patient
(currently) who is dual eligiable for medicaid & medicare part D. Last
year his anti-rejection meds (Neoral) were 100% covered by medicaid.
This year, medicaid considers Neoral a part B drug; thus, theres a 20%

Is there any evidence that taking either of these two drugs over time

EVOLUTION: The difference between a THEORY and a HYPOTHESIS14 Jan 2006 01:59 GMT32
Whenever you listen to a creationist talk about evolution, it usually
does not take very long for the creationist to show his ignorance. My
