Curiously have "run into " an individual on another ng that insists that "some states" require providers to obtain prior auths on EVERY script written!! being a prescriber myself I simply could not convince him otherwise...

Problems I've seen... 1 Sigs: Some say this will eliminate errors. It does decrease some types of errors, but providers still (rarely) enter the prescription wrong. Sometimes the mistakes are obvious. Sometimes the mistakes are subtle

Yesterday a guy comes in with a prescription. There were 4 drugs written on the 1 prescription. I hate when prescribers do this but thats another story. Anyway the first drug was Lortab 10 - tid.

Am morbidly obese. Multi-health probs including DM. Can not have the current 'fad' surgery because of prior cancers. I need Tenuate! And If I have to take it till I die (am 60!), oh well.

For the past month or so I've had a terrible taste in my mouth. I thought I might have Thrush but my tongue looks fine. Also some days are worse than others. Sometimes it's so bad it wakes me at night! I am wondering if it could be any of the medications that I take daily.
