written!!
being a prescriber myself I simply could not convince him otherwise...

Problems I've seen...
1 Sigs: Some say this will eliminate errors. It does decrease some types
of errors, but providers still (rarely) enter the prescription wrong.
Sometimes the mistakes are obvious. Sometimes the mistakes are subtle

Yesterday a guy comes in with a prescription.
There were 4 drugs written on the 1 prescription.
I hate when prescribers do this but thats another story.
Anyway the first drug was Lortab 10 - tid.

thought I might have Thrush but my tongue looks fine.  Also some days
are worse than others.  Sometimes it's so bad it wakes me at night!
I am wondering if it could be any of the medications that I take daily.

What will be next? Techs doing surgery?

Well, maybe not open heart, but what about the occasional appendix?

resection of the prostate), and now I am worse than ever (the urologist says
to wait).  Before the surgery, I had a little bit of BPH, and a lot of
prostatitis, plus a restriction from bladder neck surgery ...

Have probs w/zinc that seem to be in ALL the long acting insulins.
Currently using ONLY Humalog Lispro on sliding scale.  Is there a LA
insulin that is zinc free???
