Refusing to fill prescriptions - do you agree?31 Mar 2005 16:20 GMT6
There have been news reports about pharmacists who are refusing to
fill prescriptions for birth control and morning-after pills, because
it would violate their moral or religious beliefs. Some will even
refuse to refer customers elsewhere or transfer prescriptions.

very difficult to do? Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.

that teaches one how to produce pharmacetical products (pills, syrups,
cremes, ointments etc.)? I am interested in a practical how-to-book
for the lay person. A sort of  manual for the home-pharmacist. I've

Do you feel you are lying?26 Mar 2005 17:19 GMT1
I often feel like I am lying to patients. I'm a kind of a black and
white guy, no gray areas. Statements are either factual, or lies. An

aspirin and surgery24 Mar 2005 17:31 GMT23
I recently had minor surgery and the doctor instructed me not to use any
medications containing salicylates for two weeks before the surgery - I suppose
to prevent excess bleeding.  They gave me a long list of medications to stay
away from.

RxExpress software users21 Mar 2005 15:51 GMT1
We use RxExpress. UGH! :-(
One particularly vexing aspect is the inability to delete expired
insurance plans. It's not uncommon to see patients with 6 or more plans,
in no particular order UGH! I'd sure like to know why they can't change

I've been having trouble maintaining a normal sleeping pattern...i.e.
I've been falling asleep around 4am and getting up around 11am. Then a
2 hour nap in the late afternoon.
So I figured I would take an ambien to help me sleep.
