I have to take antibiotics (amoxil) three times a day during ten days to treat a very painful tooth-gum infection. Now, I remember having read many years ago that a certain substance (or food or supplement or whatsoever) inhibits the action of antibiotics.

The OTC warnings say not to take it if you have high blood pressure, but my doctor regularly prescribed Claritin (pre OTC) and I believe it has many more times the amount of pseudoephedrine than something like Sudafed or it's generics. Comments
