             I could rattle off quite a few medications right now that
are on the market and the only difference between the two patents(and
allot of dinero)is the Isomers.And I have a feeling that unless
certain*Companies*pass some kind of law...theres going to be more of it

I am trying to establish a assay for detection of beta-lactamase in
plasma. I am working with ELISA assay but the senstivity that i am
getting with this assay is not very good. I am working with

Have had excruciating heartburn for the past two days.  Mylanta, Bepto
bismol and tums can't touch the pain.  Food and water don't help much
either.  Have an appoitment with my gastroenterologist tomorrow, and
will probably try Gaviscon tonight so that I might be able to sleep...

For a while I've wanted to be a pharmacist. I made sure to do well in
High School, took the Sat, and applied for the colleges. I was
accepted to most of them with most of my college paid through grants
and scholarships. Then an event happened that changed my life, and my

Why are medicines like allegra, flonase, and the like available by
prescription only?
It appears quite ridiculus to me that is actually illegal to buy safe
medicines like those without a prescription.  It's hard not to laugh

My 11 y o nephew has been worked up for facial tics and they have decided its
not exactly tourettes but some similar thing.  He is starting on clonidine.
If impotence is a side effect will it cause problems during puberty or perhaps
even cause him erectile dysfunction in later ...

My doctor had me try duragesic (50) and it made me vommet continuously each
time I tried it.  He acted like this is a very unusual reaction, so I wanted
to check with pharmacists to see if this happens to other patients?

Skyrocketing cost of Effexor and other meds03 Feb 2004 07:21 GMT1
Every year at this time I have to pay full price on meds until I reach
my insurance's deductable. Last year at this time I paid about $60 for
Effexor. Now I'm being asked to pay $180. In shopping around, I'm
finding that the price only varies a little from $180.
