I am a twenty three year old male medical student who recently started
taking Paxil for anxiety.  I've noticed that I have not been able
to achieve an orgasm while taking this drug.  Also my sexual drive is
significantly decreased.  Besides these side effects, the drug has been

All Pharmacists are Criminals?17 Aug 2003 23:38 GMT1
Dispensing errors are largely slips and lapses. They are not criminal
acts done by a Dr Evil lookalike in a lab coat, in any case white furry
cats are a no-no in a busy dispensary - they get in the way of the
sharks with lazers on their heads.

Hospital pharmacy or retail pharmacy?09 Aug 2003 14:25 GMT3
I'm going into my 1st year of Pharmacy this September here in Canada. I'm
really leaning towards hospital pharmacy but many people tell me that
practicing in a retail setting is much better. Can anyone verify this based
on experience?
intravenous hydrogen peroxide09 Aug 2003 05:06 GMT3
(Posted on the sci.med.pharmacy newsgroup).
At my workout this morning, my trainer happened to mention that he had just
gotten a treatment of IV hydrogen peroxide to help him heal his leg
abrasion. My jaw dropped; I had never heard of such therapy, and surmised

Opinion: Ephedrine should not be banned.03 Aug 2003 08:30 GMT7
There is a public propelled movement going on to get products
containing ma huang (ephedra) or ephedrine products (e.g., ephedrine
hydrochloride [HCL]) off the market. In part this is understandable
only in regard to the fact the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has
Medicare prescription benefit01 Aug 2003 17:31 GMT1
I heard of an alternate plan for prescription benefits.
The proposed plan was something like:
Medicare recipients would be reimbursed 80% or maybe even 100% for rx
expenses when they filed their Fed Income Tax.
