I think that I read why somewhere, but now Ive forgotten, and I cant find a very good explanation anywhere. What I wish to know is what difference does it make to a fit active person not wanting to lose weight, not overweight if he eats fat rather than carbohydrate?

First-time poster to this group. I've been following the sporadic pockets of discussion on the allithiamin family(TTFD, benfotiamin, etc) and its proposed effects on AGE accumulation in the body. Intriguing, and the relevant abstracts on pubmed look promising, too.

I've been taking 400 IU of Vitamin D3 every other day or so this winter. The only catch is that I've been taking them in microemulsified drops. One drop is supposedly worth 400 IU of microemulsified Vitamin D. So, like I said, every other day or so,
