I think we need to start looking at peoples individual situations before recommending a diet. The Atkins Diet is not a healthy diet period, but neither is being obese. For these unfortunate people who can't or won't lose weight

Speaks well of the med. food tradition and the dash nutrition plan as analogs of the results. Overall they had lower fat intake and did beter when more mono fats were used, along with higher gi/gl carbs, which would speak of more whole carbs and fruits and veggies, in the results, ...
