Is this the case?
Considering that some alchoholic beverages are produced by removing
the residue/pulp (be it rice wine or grape wine) isn't Alcohol a
refined food? much like convential fruit juice without the fiber.

Wow Tom, are we grasping at straws or what, "rust" wasn't mentioned.  Are
you chewing old nails again?  We do know that low iron during pregnancy
and childhood causes an impaired immune system, along with other
