The tom/doe vs. markdtoad debate.31 Mar 2004 22:48 GMT1
I've told Tom/doe that iron is a secondary issue, and since then he seems to
be posting more about oxidative stress.  Oxidative stress that can be
prevented involves too much unsaturated fatty acids and oxidized cholesterol
in the diet, along with too little antioxidants, but iron ...

Re: Accumulation of iron in rheumatoid arthritis synovium31 Mar 2004 02:42 GMT11

most of the iron abstracts.  In this cas inflamation promotes iron uptake
and iron was not the cause of the underlying disorder.  In this example
iron is an effect not a cause.  This question needs to be ...

Coconut Oil30 Mar 2004 10:51 GMT5
Would it be wise to incorporate this into part of my weekly diet? Not a lot
of it, but say, a tablespoon or so? Would this bring more benefits than
drawbacks? I see some controversy on this very saturated fatty oil in
particular and would like to see if anyone here can bring all the ...
Is fast food bad?30 Mar 2004 10:39 GMT25
This may seem like a dumb question but why do people say fast food is
bad for the body and exactly how is it bad for the body. Is it the
additives, the amount of fat, the low fiber content?
I have a hunch that the main reason fast food gets a lot of stick is
