Since most phychotic people dont reproduce, how can their condition
claim to have a genetic cause? Wouldn't the population just cleanse
itself of these people since they do not have children? I am curious if
the same logic applies to homosexuality? I am no genetic expert, just a

AIDS, a blessing for Africa04 Sep 2006 17:09 GMT14
Without AIDS the population of Africa would explode creating mass
famines never before encountered. Of equal importance, such population
growth would destroy the habitat of valuable wildlife species.

Do doctors tend to give pessimistic diagnoses (for recovery)? If so, why?04 Sep 2006 12:28 GMT1
I often hear anectodes from various people of how someone they know, or
in some cases they themselves, defied doctor's diagnoses. After
suffering from a terrible injury medical professionals tell them they
