Looked for a podiatry NG but did not find, so hope you can help. Why does the podiatrist prescribe Penlac for toenail fungus, when even he says it really doesn't work because it doesn't penetrate the nail?

I have had a urinary tract infection for over a month. It didn't respond to Cipro. Tonight, I noticed I have a pink blotchy rash on my left knuckles. Also small 1 or 2 pink blotches on left wrist and arm.

What makes epsom salts work? Is it their ability to create osmosis of fluids out of the body? Are they toxic if breathes? I know they are used to curdle tofu. What if you gave epsom compresses for limb edema? How'bout an epsom eluting sock or shoe pad?

Hi, would anyone know why anti-inflammatory drugs would suppress the proliferation of Demodex mites on the scalp? Apparently, anti-inflammatories taken over time will decrease the size of the Demodex population on the human scalp.
