    Here in New York, we've recently been made aware of the presence of
small crustaceans (copepods) in the water supply.
    This seems to be mostly a religious issue--orthodox jews are not
permitted to eat shellfish.

I have a small piece of food stuck so far down my throat that it has entered
my nasal cavity. This has happened before but never for so long (around 5
hours so far). Usually I can remove it by blowing it out through my nose

I recently had an endoscopic exam to see if I had a scar stricture.
The doctor did not find any problem but he performed the dialation any
ways.  I am concerned that the dialation could have damaged my
esophagas and will eventually cause scaring.  Has any one information
