Cracked Ribs18 Feb 2005 13:06 GMT12
I cracked a rib or two about 3 months ago. The medical line was that there
is nothing that can be done except addictive pain killers and/or NSAID's

as it causes shallow breathing and associated lung ...
"Fifth disease"18 Feb 2005 06:54 GMT4
My daughter was checked by her pediatrician yesterday and the
presumptive diagnosis was "Fifth" disease.  (The school nurse was
concerned by a differential diagnosis of scarlet fever, but my daughter
had a throat swab negative for strep).

Is Appendicitis only an "acute" condition?17 Feb 2005 14:34 GMT1
I'm a male in my mid-50s, normal Body Mass Index, low blood pressure
(90/60), fit (running 5km regularly, hiked 230km over 12 days in
December). So if you asked me a couple of months ago, I would say
everything healthwise was basically "normal".

Analysis by Warren Throckmorton, Ph.D. & Durwood Ray, Ph.D

Genetics, and available online now, actually undermines the commonly
held view that homosexual orientation is determined by genetic factors.

of weeks - no problem. I went back on it again and, after 10 days went
