I've seen several sites on the web that advertise "tension-free" mesh repair of hernias, in which the mesh is eased into place without stapling or suturing. Supposedly this helps reduce the likelihood of recurrence.

| No credit card for co-pay | 07 Apr 2004 02:12 GMT | 2 |
I've seen several physicians in a mid-sized city in AZ. None of them accept credit card for co-pay or payment. Patients have to pay with cash or check. Wonder what the situation is in other places. They need pay some to credit card companies. But they are wealthy

Just a note to inform all that this poster is likely a troll, or for some reason feels the need to post his ill informed (and largely incorrect) opinions in response to legitimate questions. Any feeding of this troll will only exacerbate the problem.

I have what appears to be an indirect inguinal hernia. When I apply pressure to the bulging mass (about as big as a globe grape) it doesn't pouch-out after I bear down. My urologist told me that he could make a 4" incision and instead of suturing he would put some webbing into ...

I'm 27, male, and have had terrible sciatica off and on for about 9 months. I had an MRI of lumbar spine which came back normal except for T12/L1 which showed "a mild left paracentral disc protrusion". Could this be causing my sciatica? I've also had numbness in my buttocks and ...

| My doc told me these | 04 Apr 2004 20:43 GMT | 8 |
Can you guys tell me, true or false on these? The second one I've heard from several doctors now; I get different stories from everyone. 1. Is Lodine aka Etodolac addictive? I know it's an NSAID, and I thought that *non-steriodal* anti-inflammatories were not addictive.

It is said that normal blood pressuse is less than 120/80. But I don't think the lower the better. My question is: how low is too low? Thanks.

| Well aren't I Smart? | 02 Apr 2004 06:11 GMT | 10 |
The other day I was extremely sleepy and half asleep, half awake. My ear was bothering me and I tried to clean it with a q-tip. When I stuck the q-tip in to a certain point, my ear plugged up. It was like the q-tip touched something and that caused the ear to plug up. It
