Has anyone ever heard a patient or person complain that they had an
"electrical discharge" in their brain?  This would be followed by a
partial loss of perceptual abilities and numbness of the senses.  I
can find no record of this happening anywhere but to one individual.

I take 20 mg Zocor (Simvastatin) to reduce my Cholesterol. I am 75.
I read in several places that stains have a bad effect on memory. Is there
any validity to this?

I have been taking Zocor (Simvastatin), which is rather expensive. Recently,
my HMO has made Lovastatin available as a generic. which is much cheaper
than Zocor.
