When a doctor requests a patient to have a blood test and asks, among other things, for "blood count" and to check for anemia, liver and kidney function, what information is generally given? Meaning what exactly is "counted" and what can be determined?

I was born this way, my mom said, like my dad. When I sit down and touch my toes, my feet just fall sideways. When I walk they curve out. When I run, they straighten out people tell me. Is there anything that can fix this?

Hi, my dad is 57. He just few days ago had to have double bypass surgery. He is also diabetic. He is overweight but has been on medicine for many years which keeps his chloresterol lower than mine. (Around 130)
