Hi All,

I've just returned (Friday) from a 10 day stay at the hospital.  It
seems my lupus has decided to now affect my respiratory system.  The
chronic congestion is not new but this is the first time it has required
hospitalization.  A very scary thing, not being able to breath!

I haven't been able to shake this cough; and was worried when I started
running a fever.
Guess what though? It's not Lupus raising its ugly head; it's pneumonia!

Rusty Ruins14 Oct 2008 18:06 GMT1
Rusty has associated  himself in my mind with one of my favorite songs of
all time--"Who Loves You" by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
I hate to give him the power to ruin precious memories of mine...so I won't.
Another psychotherapeutic lesson provided by King Kanker.

Rusty's Insult12 Oct 2008 18:55 GMT4
Rusty made a horribly insulting response regarding my going to the hospital,
and "knowing just what to say" to get attention.  I did not see it, because
I have him on my "Blocked Sender" list.

Hello again.
I have come to the end of the first (and only?) batch of tests, which the
cardologist ordered upon my release from the hospital.
I freaked out about the Adenosine stress test, when, at the bottom of the

Thank you to those of you who are following my case, and investing your
energy in caring for me.
I make new headings for my own sake;  I am very visually oriented, and this

Hospital for Mair01 Oct 2008 18:42 GMT6
Okay, well.
when my new rheumatologist called me on Friday, she was very specific.  She
said "if you have pain or tightness in your chest, or have light-headed or
dizzy, vertiginous feelings, get to the hospital.  Well that is exactly what
