I was just diagnosed today with Lupus after 12 years of suffering and being
diagnosed with everything in the book but Lupus.
Does anyone know a good doctor that specializes in Lupus in the Ohio area?

been awhile again.  lots going in my "topsy turvy life" as usual.
My incison on my bottom of my foot is healed quite well but the ankle
incision has stitches coming out of 3 areas. They were cut down twice now
and hope this will heal it over.  I need to get back to swim exercises ...

My girl friend has lupus, but just chooses to not think about it , by

Any one on lyrica?  I just started it today.
Appparantly there is nerve damage since the foot and ankle surgery which can
happen due to inflammation and tissue swelling.
but both feet are worse again since out of the boot.   I favor the left foot

Hello all, I have been gone for a while and about to write a long
one.  I just spent 6 days in the hospital.  My creatine was 3.7 and I
was admitted.  I had 5, yes 5, kidney biopsys between Thursday and
Friday last week.  It appears that there is a "fair amount of scaring"

Any one on these?
How doe it work for you?
What side effects can be expected?

I have started taking Plaquenil about 6 weeks ago, and 4 weeks ago started
having leg pains, which have become increasingly worse to the point where I
can now only walk about 20 yards pain free, before being crippled by

I have a history of unexplained hives/urticaria.  My allergy doctor
says these are technically not "hives" because they are not an allergic
reaction...rather they are caused by an underlying autoimmune
condition.  I have had them on and off since my teenage years...never

The doctors think she has this.
ANy imformation on it?
I cant find a support group for it.
