I am told that I do not have lupus but something like it. Been on high dose prednisone for 7 years and the pred is eating me up. Unfortuantly when below prednisone threshhold I get fevers, chills conffusion high sed rate and areas of my head swell up. (not GCA)

Well, I dumped my cough and cold medicines - made me too whacky :) Taking antibiotics instead. Starting to feel (some) better. :) Some... I can't figure out if it's allergies, cold, virus or what.
