I am struggling with the pain from pleuritis and pericarditis.  I am
currently taking predisone (20 mg) and
plaquenil (400 mg) as well as hydromorphone for pain.
Since the inflammation has been so bad in my chest and lung, my nurse

Hey all been having trouble besides the respritory flu thing then bad
tummy reaction to all the antibiotics took 3 to get over the chest
trouble. Now having this nerve stuff. Anyone had this one? mine is in
front had killer head ache  and eye pain so on.

I went to the rheumatologist today and she thinks my increased pain is
from the inflammation and or pleurisy.  I don't know why it is getting
worse :( .  I am going for blood work tomorrow and a chest x-ray to make
sure that the fluid is not coming back around my lung or heart.  ...

I have been diagnosed with sle for two years, but had docs trying to
diagnose me with it about 15 years ago. Sigh.
Since I am on disability/medicaid, I have not yet seen a rhuematologist. I
lived in Utah before and there wasn't one available, and here in Oklahoma I

ok, I been home awhile, like 2 weeks but honestly, there is and was too
much going on in our lives.
We had a fairly nice trip, if you call hubby in ER for bacterial infection.
He was ill for over 4 weeks and finally by Feb he was doing better.  I did

I fell back in November.  Knee swelled, pain immediately.
Now it's March and it's hurting worse now than it did before.  I'm now
having to wear the brace 24/7.
New xrays and a mri are on my list.  Why is it always something?
